This swimsuit’s got sass!

It’s also made from recycled lycra! (you can read more about this amazing fabric here)

Super soft and stretchy, with a cute design featuring two shimmering sequin stars bringing some attention-grabbing sparkle. Fully lined, with a flattering ruffle at the back, and lovely tie-back, this swimsuit is as elegant as it is fun.

Each swimsuit is handmade to-order in our Bristol studio. Please select a size from the drop-down list, or select “made-to measure” and include the following measurements in inches in the notes section at the checkout:

Notes on sustainability: Eco-lycra is a way of re-purposing plastic that would otherwise end up in landfill or littering the oceans (a large proportion of the plastic used is from end-of-life fishing nets.) Unfortunately, as with any other polyester fabric this does still generate microplastics when washed, but shedding would also have occurred had the nets been left to float the oceans. (You can read more about eco-lycra here.) The sequin stars are deadstock appliques that were not bought new. Once these run out this design will be discontinued. As per the 2020 BangBangCrash sustainability pledge, all future designs will be made using sustainable materials only.

When it comes to sustainability, there are pros and cons with all fabrics and all production methods, but at BangBangCrash we aim to always make the most sustainable choices available, and ensure that you as a consumer are as informed as possible. As with all our garments, production takes place in Bristol using energy from renewable resources.
