Description
Cosy and and colourful joggers that have attitude without sacrificing comfort. These are just as good for big days out as cosy nights in.
UPDATED VERSION – The fabric used for these has changed! We now use a lovely loopback jersey made from 85% GOTS certified organic cotton and 15% polyester. This creates a durable fabric with a little bit of stretch. The fabric has been digitally printed in the UK with our exclusive Mountains print. The waistband is made from eco-lycra (made from 80% recycled post-consumer waste) and there is an organic cotton drawstring on the inside. The trousers feature a tapered leg, turn up hem, and reinforced pockets.
Each pair of joggers is handmade to-order in our Bristol studio. Please select a size from the drop-down list, or select “made-to measure” and include the following measurements in inches in the notes section at the checkout:
-Waist
-Hips
-Inside Leg

Notes on sustainability: Organic cotton is grown without using synthetic pesticides and fertilisers and without the use of genetically modified crops. It uses 91% less water than non-organic cotton, and produces fewer greenhouse gases. There are still some chemicals used in the processing of organic cotton to create a usable fabric. Find out more here We have chosen a fabric that contains some added polyester, which is a plastic based fabric. This strengthens the cotton, making it much more durable, extending the life of the garment.
Eco-lycra is made from 80% post-consumer waste, usually end-of-life fishing nets that would be otherwise littering the ocean. Find out more here
Digital printing is the most environmentally friendly printing method as it is extremely precise and does not rinse excess inks into the water system.
When it comes to sustainability, there are pros and cons with all fabrics and all production methods, but at BangBangCrash we aim to always make the most-sustainable choice available, and ensure that you as a consumer are as informed as possible. As with all our garments, production takes place in Bristol using energy from renewable resources.
