Description
We finally brought the Paradise print to a swimsuit!
This swimsuit is a made from eco-lycra (made from 80% recycled post-consumer waste.) This amazing new fabric is not only more sustainable than virgin polyester, it is also far more luxurious. Soft, stretchy, and durable, this long-lasting fabric maintains stretch and vibrancy wear after wear.
High front design, fully lined in eco-lycra, with a cut-out back, and a cheeky cut on the bum. There is elastic running through the back and a fastening at the top ensuring that this swimsuit stays up and in place, no matter how much you move, perfect for regular swimmers. Also doubles as a fun leotard for regular ravers.
Durable, washable and easy to care for.
Each leotard is handmade to-order in our Bristol studio. Please select a size from the drop-down list, or select “made-to measure” and include the following measurements in inches in the notes section at the checkout:
-Bust
-Waist
-Hips

Please allow 2-3 weeks for production, if you need your item sooner please leave a note in the checkout or send an email to: hello@bangbangcrash.com so that we can be aware of your timescale.
Notes on sustainability: Eco-lycra is a way of re-purposing plastic that would otherwise end up in landfill or littering the oceans (a large proportion of the plastic used is from end-of-life fishing nets.) Unfortunately, as with any other polyester fabric this does still generate microplastics when washed, but shedding would also have occurred had the nets been left to float the oceans. (You can read more about eco-lycra here.)
Our digital printing is done in the UK. Digital printing is extremely precise, no extra water is needed and minimal waste is produced.
When it comes to sustainability, there are pros and cons with all fabrics and all production methods, but at BangBangCrash we aim to always make the most sustainable choices available, and ensure that you as a consumer are as informed as possible. As with all our garments, production takes place in Bristol using energy from renewable resources.
